Biography
Duncan Bowen is Songwriting, lyrics, lead vocals/guitars.
Duncan was born and raised in the south-east
of England. He came to Stuttgart in 1984. After
two years of preperation, he started off live with
a Jazz piano player from Darmstadt.
They worked together for the next following two years
to come.
After
seperation,Duncan carried on his development working
in a rock band.
He
managed to release a CD in 1993.
The rock business came
to an end in 1996.
During those past years however, Duncan never lost contact
to his initial way of performing.
After a short preproduction- period, Bowen got together
with the guitar player and producer Marc
-Hirte.
Bowen`s first solo CD "Snakes & ladders" was
completed by spring `98. The nowadays two hour live-set
can be
performed solo, duo,or with Ducan`s
trio which which he prefers the most.
Duncan Bowen is
a well known
lyric-writer and consulter. He recently completed lyrics
for a musical "The-phantom"and was involved in a
music show carried out by the BMW car company.
After the „SNAKES & LADDERS“ live tour, Duncan
set his thoughts on preparing the
songs for his new album which is scheduled for spring
2001.
In between time, Bowen
was involved in three major projects, courtesy of
FLOriDAN studios
Stuttgart. The first being
the lyrics foran exhibition-jingle presenting the new
FIAT-IVECO truck on the IAA Frankfurt/Main.
Shortly
after this he worked
on a song for COCA-COLA who are
the major - “Jugend trainiert for Olympia“ sponsors.
The
latest project came from the DAIMLER-BENZ car-company, concerning
the lyrics for a song to accompany
their
latest advert-film for a new automobile- model.
Duncan Bowen was working
continously since spring 2000 on his new album „
SONGS TO A PRECIOUS WORLD“ which is available by march
2001.
May 2003: Duncans third soloalbum,
WORTHY was brought to market. He managed to find a
disrtibuter shortly after
completion. (M äule & Gosch
Kornwestheim).
January 2004: Duncan started to produce an italien singer/songwriter
Domenico Di Cesare His album is scheduled to be released
by August 2004
